The first thing our testers noticed with Vichy's new NeoVadiol is the fresh quality of the cream. It is very much a cream gel consistency and very pleasant to use. It is light moisurising day cream which certainly improves the texture of the skin leaving it noticeably smooth after just a few days of use. Our testers certainly found it pleasant to use and loved the softness it created. Did it diminish lines? It will depend on how deep your lines are but it will certainly help diminish their appearance and the general appearance of the skin is improved. Testers said that they felt they didn't need as much foundation and in fact those who normally used a heavier make-up felt they could almost get away with just a little concealer and a light dusting. There is a day and night version of this cream.

Given the amount of anti-wrinkle creams out there it is no wonder that that every so often the manufacturers bring out a new one or revise an old formula and that is exactly what L'Oreal has done with Revitalift. Their new range is called Advanced Revitalift and there are far more products in the range besides the day and night creams of old. There is a lotion version as well as an intensive version and of course eye cream. Is it better. Well some testers who used the cream formulation before didn't really see much difference from one version to the other but those who hadn't used the products before said they could feel a tightening effect in some cases. This resulted in a smoother look to the skin. Those who used the old version would buy the new one but many felt that the lotion was not as nourishing as the creams.

Let's look at the Collagen Filler first. We decided to give this a real test by using it not only on testers in their 30s but also those in their 40s! The product as you can see from the example on the left comes in a tube which you run across the area you have a problem with such as forehead lines or laughter lines and it dispenses a line of product on the skin. It works by plumping up the skin and therefore diminishing the wrinkle. Does it work? We can confidently say yes it does!

If you are using other products in this range such as the face cream then leave this product for special occasions and start using it a week or two before the event. By the end of two weeks you should see even deep lines become less noticeable and the skin smoother. Don't expect miracles though but we found the results very good.

Also new to the Wrinkle De-Crease range is the Serum which ones in a handy pump dispenser. This is ideal if you want quicker results as you put it on under the your moisturiser (preferably at night as it can have more affect while you are sleeping). Obviously it is best if you don't mix and match in this instance so we recommend sticking to the cream in this range. It is a light serum with a pleasant smell. You will probably already be aware that most brands have a distinctive perfume and L'Oreal are no exception but our testers found that they didn't find the fragrance a problem. We have found in the past that it is more often the smell of a product that testers complain about more than the results! If you have any problems with product smells then try and find a tester in store before you purchase any product.
